At Viraya, we believe that every young person deserves to feel seen, supported, and safe as they grow into who they are. Our Youth Mentorship Program is an example of what a personalized 8-week journey can look like. Each session designed to support emotional well-being, resilience, and empowerment in girls and youth.
We recognize that no two journeys are the same. This mentorship is co-created with each participant to meet them where they are, with the option to explore specific focus areas or expand upon what’s most present in their life. Mentorship can take place in person or online, and sliding scale and payment plans are available because we believe healing and guidance should never be out of reach.Â
What We’ll Explore Together
An example of focus areas available through the Viraya Youth Mentorship
Week 1: Understanding Emotions
Learn how to name, feel, and regulate emotions in a healthy way. Understand how our thoughts, feelings, and behaviours are connected. Practice simple mindfulness tools to increase emotional awareness and resilience.
Week 2: Self-Compassion & Self-Acceptance
Explore how to treat yourself with kindness, especially during hard moments. Let go of perfectionism and negative self-talk. Build self-worth from the inside out.
Week 3: Coping Skills & Stress Management
Learn healthy coping strategies for big emotions, school stress, family challenges, or friendship issues. We’ll explore calming tools like breath-work, movement, and daily habits for well-being.
Week 4: Healing from Trauma & Adversity
Create a safe space to name and understand hard experiences, without judgment. Discover how your nervous system reacts and how to gently re-center. You’ll be reminded that healing is possible, and already beginning.
Week 5: Building Healthy Relationships
Explore what respect, trust, and communication look like in friendships and family dynamics. Learn to recognize red flags and strengthen your own voice and boundaries.
Week 6: Gratitude & Mindfulness
Connect to the present moment through mindfulness and the practice of gratitude. Discover how tuning into the now can help calm anxiety, spark joy, and build self-awareness.
Week 7: Finding Meaning & Purpose
Discover what lights you up inside. Whether it’s creative passions, caring for others, or dreaming big, you’ll explore what makes your journey meaningful and unique.
Week 8: Creating a Wellness Plan
Together, we’ll reflect on everything you’ve learned and build a gentle, practical plan for moving forward. You’ll leave with a personalized guide full of tools, goals, and reminders of your strength.

Our Youth Mentorship is heart-led, inclusive, and rooted in lived experience and professional care. It's more than just weekly sessions, it’s a place to be heard, held, and empowered. Parents and guardians are welcome to connect with us about the program to ensure it’s a good fit.
Mentorship fee: $888 CAD.  Â
